According to New Orleans MagazineEminem’s first concert performance in four years and only scheduled show in 2009 will take place at the Voodoo Experience, Halloween weekend (October 30, 31 & November 1, 2009) at City Park.  Eminem will be joined by a line-up of over 150 artists including a little band by the name of KISS, and the recently reunited original members of Jane’s Addiction, whose original line-up have recently come together again to perform their unforgettable music.  We hope you are ready to rock! New Orleans’ signature fall music event will offer three days of music including sets by noted names, both nationally and locally, including The Flaming Lips, The Black Keys,  George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, The Pogues, Silversun Pickups, Meat Puppets, and so many more!  A number of local-only bands will also be performing, including Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Rebirth, Brass Band, Preservation Hall-Stars, and more.  A weekend pass (on sale now) for all three days will cost you $169, and Lounge VIP passes are $475, and covers all shows, all three days.

Each day as the festival ends, the Voodoo Experience invades the city of New Orleans! With a series of over 20 events at 10 different hotspots, there is no better way to keep the fun going. Hit all the major clubs of New Orleans where top-notch local talent and the Voodoo artists plan to jam.
