The Avenue Inn Bed and Breakfast is only a few blocks from famed Magazine Street, with its six miles of quaint little shops, bistros and galleries just perfect for filling your gift list.

Local tour companies offer unique experiences for the whole family like Grayline’s Bonfire Adventure along the Mississippi, lighting the way for Papa Noel. They also feature a special holiday tour of New Orleans, “Jingling through the Crescent City”.

If you stay with us on Christmas day, your kids can look for gifts that Santa dropped off under our tree in the Grand Parlor (supplied by Mom and Dad, Santa’s helpers). The Innkeepers will supply plenty of hot chocolate and tasty treats for gift opening all morning.

There are festivities happening all season long and we know just where to send you for the best entertainment experiences. Jazz on Frenchman Street, Caroling in Jackson Square or a holiday performance at the La Petite Theater.
