One of the coolest rooms in the mansion. this space was designed to jut out from the roof and overlook the avenue. The Nanny took the children of the home here to safely watch the Mardi Gras parades. Close enough to see the floats, distant enough to avoid the dust raised by the hooves of the mules that pulled the them down historic St.Charles avenue back in 1891.
