April in Paris: French –Themed Shops in New Orleans

As the most French of American cities—and the home of the French Quarter—New Orleans is a place that struts its cosmopolitan side, albeit in a totally unreserved way! In addition to restaurants that do riffs on French cuisine, you’ll find many shops that feature furniture, gifts, clothing, and more from our friends across the ocean. Here are a few to check out.

Antiques de Province. Appropriately located on Royal Street in the French Quarter, this classy shop sells imported furniture, mirrors, art, garden items, and more. Vintage Chanel jewelry is reason enough to visit.
