Have A Happy Thanksgiving, NOLA Style

Any holiday is more fun in the Crescent City! We may be a tad prejudiced, but New Orleans is a place that is always buzzing with fun times and great food—both of which make Thanksgiving here a great feast for the senses. Below is a preview of what you’ll find this year.

Game on! Get ready for a week of sports events that starts on Sunday, November 19, 2017, when the New Orleans Saints play the Washington Redskins here in the Big Easy. Following that on Wednesday, it’s the New Orleans Pelicans versus the San Antonio Spurs at the Smoothie King Center. And then comes the big daddy of Thanksgiving week, the Bayou Classic. This game between the Southern Jaguars and Grambling State Tigers is a classic, pitting two old rivals and spurning days of celebration with a parade, battle of the bands, and huge post-game party.
