New Orleans’ Historic Le Petit Théâtre

The history of the famed Le Petit Théâtre Du Vieux Carré dates to its inception in 1916. Fast-forward 100-plus years and the little theater is now a mainstay of the New Orleans cultural scene.

Originally located just off Jackson Square, the theater moved to its current home on St. Peter Street in 1922. Productions here run the gamut—dramas, comedies and musicals—with a roster of talent that is both local and national. Whatever the show, the setting and experience always makes for a good time.
